Edrus Mohammed
Principal AI Product Leader & Solutions Architect
25+ years pioneering AI-driven digital transformation across hospitality and aviation. Built and launched a cutting-edge hotel operations platform from concept to market. Former CSO at Mogul Hotels, CTO at Cachet Hospitality Group - now architecting the future of intelligent hospitality.
What does it take to bridge the gap between AI engineering and commercial strategy in hospitality? For Edrus Mohammed, the answer lies in 25 years of doing both - and building a platform that proves it works.
A rare hybrid leader who speaks the language of machine learning, revenue management, and executive boardrooms with equal fluency, Edrus architected, built, and successfully brought to market a cutting-edge AI-driven hotel operations and ancillary revenue platform. Not as a theoretical exercise - as a shipped product generating measurable ROI across properties.
As Chief Strategy Officer at Mogul Hotels and Residences, he orchestrated long-term business strategy with a five-year forward-looking lens - prototyping solutions, piloting products, forging strategic partnerships, and preparing teams to embrace AI, ML, and automation before the market demanded it.
Before Mogul, he served as Head of Solutions at Coforge Ltd, leading enterprise airline technology for a major European carrier. He directed high-level solution design and rapid prototyping across airline operations, automated passenger kiosks, cargo reporting systems, and complex multi-system API data ecosystems.
His earlier tenure as CTO at Cachet Hospitality Group saw him build and lead the development of multiple products and proprietary e-commerce platforms spanning B2B, B2C, and B2E - encompassing CRM, loyalty systems, central reservations, campaign management, reputation management, and deep OTA integrations with GDS and CRS for hotels, residences, restaurants, and timeshares.
The thread running through every role: the ability to see what hospitality technology could become - and build the bridge to get there.
Edrus holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of Madras and brings deep expertise in AI architecture, cloud-native platforms, API ecosystems, and hospitality technology strategy. He has consulted for British Airways, Emirates, Etihad, United Airlines, KLM-Air France, InterGlobe Technologies, and Zurich Financial Services - and counts Mogul Hotels and Cachet Hospitality Group among the organisations he has helped transform.
